AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...The greatest ripoff in Oscar history!!!!!...This dirge is a three star movie, at best!!!!period...no one watches Sheks in love more than onvce,,,,thney watch Pvt Ryan multiple times....I despise this movie!!!!!!!!!!!

It is not the biggest rip-off in Oscar history. It was actually one of the closest races in oscar history. The split decison between picture and director demonstrates this.

Both films are of high quality and rate 4 stars. Shakespeare in Love actually has a higher ranking on with critics on RottenTomatoes.com 89% positive for Ryan and 92% positive for Shakespeare. While over on Metacritic.com it is the reverse with 31 positive reviews and a score of 90% for Ryan and 87% with 30 positive reviews for Shakespeare.

The fact that you personaly despise this movie means little since it has already been determined that you are an un-sophisticated movie watcher. :)

The worst rip-off in Oscar history occurred in 2005 when the drek Crash won Best Picture over such films as Brokeback Mountain, Capote, Munich and Goodnight and Good Luck.
