There is only one movie to watch on February 2nd and that is Groundhog Day. This brilliant and original comedy, written and directed by Harold Ramis, stars Bill Murray in a role that he was born to play.
The film follows the adventures of weatherman Phil Connors as he is forced to relive the same day, Groundhog Day, over and over again in Punxsutaney, Pennsylvania.
The film was well received when it was released in 1993, but through home video it developed a following and is now considered one of the best comedies ever made. The movie also stars Andie MacDowell and Chris Elliott.
