365+ movies in 365 days: Day 19 - Shrek The Third

The "Shrek- A-thon" concluded with the showing of Shrek The Third. This was the first time I have watched the movie since seeing it in a theatre in 2007. I was amazed at how much of it I had forgotten. But, that is because the movie is so forgettable. There is nothing new to the story and it completely lacks the charm and invention of the first two films. The ending is all talk and lacks any kind of pizazz. It definitely has a feel of been there, done that. At The Movie House rating ** stars.
